11.20.97 - LINDA SOBEK

Bare Facts reader wrote to me and told me to check out the Playboy Newsstand Special
magazine, Playboy's Book of Lingerie November 1995 issue. On
pages 68 and 69 there are four photos of a model credited simply as "Linda,"
with no last name. The reader believes this is none other than model/cheerleader
Linda Sobek, who was murdered by photographer Charles Rathbun in 1995 during
a photo shoot.
I compared the Linda in the magazine to photos of
Ms. Sobek and I'm pretty sure that they are different people. Although both
Lindas have similar hair, and full lower lip, the Linda in the magazine has a thinner,
more upturned nose and sharper chin than Linda Sobek.
I emailed a question about this to the people at Playboy
Newsstand Specials and they responded with the following: "We can only confirm
that the model in question is named Linda. We are only able to provide the information
which has appeared in print for any of our models. If a model chooses to be known
only by one name, we must honor her wishes."

a photo club whose members shot Linda a long time ago and they all agree that it

Daniel wrote in with the explanation that maybe her
nose is thinner because she had plastic surgery.
So therefore, I can only conclude that Linda = Linda
Sobek.
More Follow up: I talked with someone who knew
Linda and it is Linda Sobek.
2.3.97 - HELEN MIRREN IN MARIE CLAIRE MAGAZINE
I
read in the newspaper that Helen Mirren celebrated her 50th birthday by posing
topless for Marie Claire magazine. Anybody know the month and year
of the issue?

I
don't get to watch adult films as much as I'd like to. If you know what adult film
actress Keisha looks like, I could use your help.
There is a new release, non-adult video tape called
The Sweeper, starring C. Thomas Howell, probably on your local video
store's shelf right now. A reader wrote to me and said that Raquel Rios (who
was also in Watchers II) is also known as adult film actress Keisha.
If you fast forward 0:32 into The Sweeper, you'll see her playing the part
of "Mall Mother." She looks Hispanic. Let me know if you think this is
Keisha. Thanks!
While you've got The Sweeper in your
VCR, you can also fast forward to the 1:02 mark to see Kristen Dalton's buns
and breasts, while she takes a shower by herself, then making love with C. Thomas
Howell. (2 stars). Kristen has also been in Digital Man as "Gena"
and Hourglass as "Laughing Girl." As for the rest of the nudity
in The Sweeper, there are a few strippers with buns in T-backs at the 0:29
and 0:30 marks.
I'm sorry that the information on this web site has
slowed to a trickle lately, but I've been watching video tapes out the wazoo, trying
to get as much new information into the 1997 supplement as I can before the end of
September!

Does
anyone know if Nina Alexander has done any boy/girl scenes (with actual
intercourse) in the following adult films? The ones listed in The
Internet Adult Film Database without (lez only) are: Double D Roommates (1989),
Raunch 1 (1990), Sex Sluts From Beyond the Galaxy (1991), Taste
of Julia Parton (1992) and Trick Tracy (1990). I don't regularly watch
adult films, but someone wants to know. Thanks!
Answer From Joel C.: I do know of a film in
which she does boy/girl. I believe the title was Let's Talk Sex (Caballero,
1983). It's about couples who call in their fantasies to Kitten Natividad. The first
one is Bridgette Monet and Dave Canon. About halfway in is Mike Horner's fantasy
in which he watches Julia with another girl and is invited to join in. He definitely
does them both. It's the only boy/girl scene I ever saw her do.

Angie Everhart will be starring in the sequel to 9 1/2 Weeks.
Does anyone know if the full frontal shot of Angie lying dead on the table in the
morgue in Jade was done by a body double or a prosthetic model or was
it her?
Answer from two different readers: Yes, unfortunately,
Angie DID use a body double for her nude scenes in Jade. Two readers reported
back, one read an article in Entertainment Weekly and another read it in Paris Match.

real Angie in the sequel to 9 1/2 Weeks!
